Why Seed Bombs?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every day, children play in areas contaminated by landmines. Farmers work land still hiding explosive remnants of war. In over 60 countries, landmines and explosive ordnance continue to kill, injure, and keep families living in fear. Like the \u201cBombs to Blooms\u201d campaign, humanitarian mine clearance allows life to return and fields to flourish again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our \u201cBombs to Blooms\u201d campaign is a simple, symbolic way to raise awareness about this often-forgotten reality. Because mine action doesn\u2019t only happen in the field with a metal detector \u2013 it also depends on awareness, remembrance, and public engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
