About Olivier<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A demining expert and FSD staff member for the past eight years, Olivier is currently working in Ukraine. In a city regularly targeted by drones and missiles, air-raid sirens punctuate daily life, yet the teams continue their mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olivier and his colleagues are currently supporting the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical demining machines. These machines are used to clear agricultural land, allowing farmers to cultivate their fields safely once again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A former soldier, Olivier explains why he chose to put his skills to work in humanitarian action. He speaks about determination, the transfer of knowledge, and his conviction that humanitarian demining remains essential for building a lasting peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
