En 2022, sur 10 victimes de mines, plus de 8 \u00e9taient des civil\u00b7es, dont une moiti\u00e9 d\u2019enfants.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malgr\u00e9 le temps qui passe, le retour de la paix et l\u2019oubli qui s\u2019installe sur les anciens champs de bataille, la menace reste pr\u00e9sente. Certains engins deviennent m\u00eame de plus en plus instables avec le temps, et donc plus \u00e0 risque d\u2019exploser au moindre contact.<br><br>Malheureusement, la dangerosit\u00e9 de ces engins reste relativement m\u00e9connue, ce qui entra\u00eene parfois des r\u00e9actions imprudentes: \u00ab&nbsp;Une dame apporte une grenade \u00e0 main au commissariat de Forest&nbsp;\u00bb (jan. 2023) ; \u00ab&nbsp;Un automobiliste se pr\u00e9sente chez les gendarmes avec deux obus sur la banquette arri\u00e8re&nbsp;\u00bb (nov. 2022). Entre 5% et 20% des munitions tir\u00e9es n\u2019explosent pas \u00e0 l\u2019impact et peuvent donc ensuite exploser au moindre contact.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces incidents qui restent r\u00e9guliers alors que l\u2019Europe de l\u2019ouest n\u2019a plus connu de guerre depuis plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations soulignent la persistance de ce fl\u00e9au et l\u2019impact positif du d\u00e9minage humanitaire sur le long terme. En Ukraine, en Irak ou en Afghanistan, des millions de mines et munitions non-explos\u00e9es sont encore diss\u00e9min\u00e9es dans les villes, les villages, les champs et les for\u00eats. \u00ab&nbsp;Sans d\u00e9minage, il est impossible pour les agriculteurs de cultiver leurs terres sans se mettre en danger, ou pour les personnes d\u00e9plac\u00e9es par les combats de rentrer chez elles sans risquer de faire un pas au mauvais endroit.&nbsp;\u00bb, explique Hansj\u00f6rg Eberle, directeur de la FSD.
