“Step by Step – Becoming Deminers”

A documentary at the heart of mine action in Ukraine. Follow Serhii and Nadiia, new recruits of an FSD demining team, in their journey to become deminers.

I liked how you could really get a sense of what the recruited people’s thought process looked like while becoming deminers (personal backstory, interviews).

I really liked the fact that the reality was shown and not sugarcoated, so that the employees really knew what the risks were, but still wanted to help.
