Finances
FSD is funded by various private and public donors.
We make every effort to ensure that each donation received is used in the most efficient manner.

In Ukraine, millions of people now have no choice but to live with landmines and unexploded or abandoned ordnance. (Ukraine, 2019)
Operations
Budget allocation by programme

Allocation
Overall allocation of budget
The organisation rigorously manages its operating costs in order to limit its expenses and maximise its impact in the field. (Distribution 2021)

Funding
Nearly 10 000 private donors
Private contributions are crucial to guaranteeing our independence and the promptness of our interventions. They complement public grants, which are usually allocated to a specific project.
Regular private donations are particularly valuable to enhancing our response in the field and ensuring the sustainability of our interventions.
As such, since 2018 FSD has been conducting street and door-to-door campaigns in French-speaking Switzerland to raise funds from private donors.
At the end of 2022, there were 9,839 private donors supporting FSD.

There are four of us in the family – four people who don’t have to worry about mines when we walk. We give 40 francs to clear 40 square metres!
